Balaji Boxing Academy was founded on 2nd October, 2017. It was founded by Mr. Sanjay Prasad and his team of boxers. Sanjay Prasad is a boxing coach who used to play for Indian Railways during his young age. After he quit playing he become a boxing coach and trained a lot of boxers.

There was a slum near to his house and he observed that families there, were suffering from poverty and were struggling with their life. Children were deprived of education and had no hope in life for coming out of it and becoming successful in life. Sanjay Prasad one day thought of an idea that what if these children can be trained to become a boxer. This can be a very good idea which can transform their life. 

Mr. Sanjay Prasad discussed this idea of his with his fellow boxers and formed a team and thought of opening a club for the unprivileged children of slums. This lead to the formation of BALAJI BOXING ACADEMY.

Presently Balaji Boxing Academy works for the unprivileged children of slums (Dalit kids). We provide them with proper training, boxing kits, diet and opportunities to showcase their talent.  Balaji Boxing academy welcomes everybody. It has two wings one is charity and the other one is paid.
